The packaging features "Kyo-machi Seika," the official character of Seika-cho, Kyoto Prefecture.
The "ripe strawberries" used for Seika's Hospitality products are directly sourced from Mr. Taku Inoue, a strawberry farmer in Seika-cho, Kyoto Prefecture, who carefully grows and selects the strawberries. The cookies are made with the cooperation of a pastry chef from Patisserie Le Fruitier in Seika-cho, making the most of the ripe strawberries.
The black tea with floating dried strawberries uses Minamiyamashiro black tea from Nakakubo Seichaen in Minamiyamashiro, Kyoto Prefecture. The black tea, made with a meticulous process, is fragrant and has little bitterness or astringency, making it a recommended tea even for first-time drinkers.
A set of strawberry cookies and Minamiyamashiro Village black tea to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. It's also recommended as a souvenir for a tea party.
