Fruit vinegar made by slowly fermenting the core and pulp of Ishigaki Island pineapples and adding only the pulp, raw sugar, and honey.
Pineapple cores that used to be discarded have been transformed into fruit vinegar by the power of a vinegar brewery that has been in operation for 130 years.
Enjoy with yogurt in the morning, with soda or water in the afternoon, or with shochu and soda in the evening for a sour. You can enjoy it all day long.
The vinegar is made with a low acidity so that even those who dislike vinegar because it is too sour can use it with peace of mind.
The percentage is about 50-60%. The fruits are delivered to the island, with the cost of transportation covering the peels, skins, and cores, which are discarded without being eaten. Even if the fruits are processed and only the peels and cores are sent, a large amount of peels and cores remain on the island. We would like to realize recycling-oriented agriculture by using the peels and cores instead of discarding them all. We would like to realize recycling-oriented agriculture.
We visited Yamani Vinegar Co., Ltd. a 130-year-old vinegar brewery, and asked President Iwahashi for advice. He readily agreed to make vinegar from pineapple cores, and the pineapple fruit vinegar production began. Currently, both pineapple and strawberry fruit vinegar is made by slow fermentation. We ask that the pulp be added further, and Hana Strawberry and Hana Pineapple are completed.
